Welcome to the Court Reminder System provided by the Circuit Court of Cook County.


This Court Reminder System is intended to provide telephonic and/or text message court date reminders to those persons arrested and charged with a felony or misdemeanor offense in Cook County.  The telephonic and/or text message reminder will provide defendants (i.e. those accused of a crime) with details of their next court date, time, and courthouse location for which they are scheduled to appear.  By registering, a court date reminder will be sent to defendants approximately 14, 7, and 2 days before their next court date.  You may sign up for yourself or on behalf of a family member or friend.

If you are trying to register, but do not have the case number, bond number, or CB number (required to complete Option 1) you can select Option 2 and register with the defendant’s first name, last name, birthdate, and the date the defendant was arrested. If you do not have the date the defendant was arrested, you can call any court location (link provided on the right) and request the case number (to complete Option 1) as long as you have the defendant’s first name, last name, and birthdate. See Court House Locations page for details. To register for reminders for multiple cases, you must submit the form below for each case individually.

Note: Please allow 72 hours from the point in which you received your notice to appear in court before you attempt to register via this web portal.

The Circuit Court of Cook County, is pleased to provide defendants accused of felony and misdemeanor offenses the option of receiving telephonic and/or text message reminders of selected court hearing dates and times.

Participation in this service is optional and free

  • Registering to receive reminders of court hearing dates and times is optional.
  • Opting for the service or not opting for the service will have no bearing on any defendants’ case or status.
  • Defendants are encouraged to take advantage of the option, as reminders may result in the avoidance of complications in their cases due to missed hearings.
  • All information provided by participants will be used solely to provide court reminder messages to the phone number provided.
  • While the Court Reminder system charges no cost to participate in this service, a participant’s telephone provider may charge depending on the terms of their contract.

Defendant is solely responsible for court hearing attendance

  • This service does not absolve participating defendants of the responsibility to keep careful records of all court hearing dates and times.
  • It remains the defendant’s sole responsibility to keep track of court hearing dates and times and to appear at all hearings set by the court.

  • The Circuit Court of Cook County is providing this Web Site as an optional service and serves only as a courtesy reminder of a defendant’s future court date.
  • A defendant’s official notice to appear was provided to him/her in writing when posting bail at the police station or in a courtroom when appearing before a judge.
  • If the defendant receives information from this service that is different from the official notice the defendant received in writing from law enforcement or when appearing before a judge, the defendant must comply with the official notice.
